Our history Our troop has been in existence for at least 80 years. Its earliest history is lost to time, but some believe it was the very first Boy Scout Troop to have been chartered in Berkeley. As one story goes, it originally began as Troop 1. At some point early on the troop's charter lapsed, and when it was rechartered, it became Troop 19. If you ever have the chance to visit Camp Wolfeboro, you will find much of Troop 19's history in the pages of the camp's scrapbooks. Troop 19 is in the Hermes District of the Mount Diablo Silverado Boy Scout Council. We are chartered by The School of the Madeleine in Berkeley. |
