Scoutmaster’s Report:
The yearly planning meeting with SPL Sam B. and patrol leaders took place at the end of February, with some great trips planned including skiing, snow camping, swimming and Yosemite Valley.
There has been a lot of advancement within the troop, so a Court of Honor has been scheduled for April 30th along with refreshments and a party for parents and guests.
Philmont bound scouts need to schedule medicals, bringing the Philmont form to the appointment since Philmont accepts no other forms. Paul has the forms.
February Report:
Mt. Shasta Trip
There was a huge snow pack, and plenty of sunshine this year for some great sledding, snowboarding, cross country skiing, and fort building in the woods.
We had our traditional Round Table pizza dinner on Saturday and also visited the trout hatchery with some of the largest trout ever seen by these scouts
Finance:
Cal basketball volunteers brought over 800 dollars to the troop!
We rarely fund raise, but as warm spring weather rolls in, a new fund raising idea came up. A water fight! Actually, it was a car wash. But that can be almost as much fun on a nice warm day.
